General description
p-Rosolic acid (C.I. 43800) is an acid-baseindicator from the triphenylmethane group. It is also known as aurin and 4-[Bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)methylene]-2,5-cyclohexadienone.
Application
p-Rosolic acid has been used to induce cellular stress in HEK293 cells.
Biochem/physiol Actions
The transition range of p-Rosolic acid is around pH 6.6-8.0 (Below this pH range it is yellow and above it red).
